The Philippine
Sustainable Development Network Foundation, Inc. conducted a briefing seminar for the Philippine
National Oil Company personnel, dubbed as "Making e-Commerce Work for your
Business".
 The objective of the briefing seminar is to help one understand and appreciate the basic
of WEB computing, how to maximize the use of Internet in the business world, how to
prepare the company for the generation of online business known as the
"e-Enterprise", and the Republic Act No. 8792 – The e-Commerce Law.
The Resource Persons were Mr. Louie Fernando, who
discussed the basic things to know about e-Commerce/Business/Enterprise; and Col. Fermin
Javier, who talked about the e-Commerce Law, its salient points an milestones, and the
government agencies’ compliance to the law.
