Community Lake Monitoring Program |
|
The CLMP is a cooperative program combining the technical resources of CLEAR (
Conservation of Laguna de Bay's Environment and Resources) and the volunteer
efforts of the communities lakewide who collect water quality data on their side
of the lake. It requires minimal time and expense, yet it can provide data that
is essential for achieving the goals of lakewater quality management.
The CLMP is a cost-effective mechanism for obtaining good basic water quality data on lakes.
It is not intended to replace the existing monitoring activities of LLDA, it is just meant to
complement it and at the same time use the activity as a means to communicate the importance
of the Lake.
