The
Ecological Camp for the youth of Angono was successfully held on
15-17 April 2009 at the Vincentian Hills Seminary and
Retreat House. The 3-day Eco-Camp was attended by
twenty-five youth from the Sangguniang Kabataan
(9 SK members/leaders) and students from
various schools of Angono.

The Eco-Camp was an important vehicle to enable the
participants to be more aware of their important role
and stake in the conservation of Laguna de Bay.
The participants were able to identify problems
affecting the lake and craft solutions that they
themselves will implement with the support of their
schools and/or communities.
