The
Ecological Camp for the youth of Pateros was successfully held on
26-28 August 2009 at the Villa Fernandina de Vigan (Taguig
City). The 3-day Eco-Camp was attended by
twenty-eight youth from various schools of Pateros.
Three of the participants were Sangguniang Kabataan
(Youth Council) leaders of Pateros.

The Eco-Camp was an important vehicle to enable the
participants to be more aware of their important role
and stake in the conservation of Laguna de Bay.
The participants were able to identify problems
affecting the lake and craft solutions that they
themselves will implement with the support of their
schools and/or communities.
