The project “Target Basura .... Bull's
Eye!” is an IEC (information, education
and communication) on solid
wastes management. It aimed to
increase awareness among the schools (for the high
school participants) and community
members (for the Sangguniang Kabataan. All
groups are going to implement
their own IEC project, having a common
activity which is the conduct of seminar on Ecological
Solid Wastes Management.

The Sangguniang Kabataan group conducted a
Seminar on Solid Wastes Management on 18 April 2010 at
the Municipal Health Unit IV of Barangay Gulod.
Led by Mr. Karl Reinier Era, the ecocampers shared their learnings to
other SK leaders/members as they echoed the lectures and presentations
they learned from the 3-day ecological camp.
Students from Polytechnic University of the
Philippines and members of Samahan ng Kabataang
Gabay sa Kinabukasan were also there to attend the
seminar. |
