Presidential Decree No. 1121
- Creating the National Environmental Protection Council
- Promulgated on April 18, 1977
Executive Order No. 192
- The Environmental Management Bureau was created as a staff bureau of the
Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
- The Bureau is a merger of two environmental agencies namely:
- The National Environmental Protection Council created under P.D. 1121
- The National Pollution Control Commission created under P.D. 984.
